The Corrie Burn leading up tae Goatfell on the Isle of Arran. This was taken in early September 2016 when my brother and I ventured up Goatfell. Unfortunately, we failed to reach the top as the light started to fade, so we pitched our tent up next to this burn. During our night camping, we were faced with 45 mph winds, the waterproof sheet for our tent flew off but we were lucky as it didn’t rain. When the waterproof sheet flew off, I was laying down facing up to the sky and we had a wonderful view of the milky way rising above Goatfell. Eventually, we fell asleep and was awoken by the goats of the glen.
I exposed this photo for just a half second to simply give the water a wee sense of movement as it flows down the glen.
This is available in postcards, canvas, and print.
